Leaps and Bounds

Leaps and Bounds is a center-based early intervention program that combines educational and therapeutic approaches to nurture children’s overall growth and development in preparation for preschool and community-based programs.

Sensory and language-enriched therapy program designed for children ages 18 months to three years who have been identified with developmental delays
Includes a social language-cognition group led by an early intervention teacher and group occupational, physical, and speech therapies
Offers four developmental centers: sensory-motor, cognition, gross motor, and language/oral motor to provide opportunities for children to practice what they are learning in their group therapies
Children participate in exploratory play based on the philosophy of Floortime with opportunities for circle, snack, and share times
